While driving yesterday I saw two CDs in the middle of the road. I pulled over and recovered them. One disc was labeled “TI MIX” and was very badly scratched; the other had two small holes punched through it. This seemed impossible to me, given the physical qualities of a Compact Disc.

I decided to try to recreate the holes on the exact same type of disc through a series of experiments/meditations. This is the first such meditation.
